pre-configured with the PostgreSQL 8.0 and MSDE 2000 databases. Your
server or workstation assigned to host i-Trax may already have one
of the following supported database applications. If you would like

Notes:
1. All workstations and server require TCP/IP networking installed.
2. Remote access or multiple offices accessing a common database
will require a Virtual Private Network (VPN)
or other TCP/IP based network connection.
3. i-Trax recommends all systems to have a firewall/router
installed to prevent unauthorized access to project data.
4. Our
tech support will require that the latest versions of all service
packs for the operating system, database and MS Office be installed
on the computer running the application.

SE may be required for use of the Desktop Search
**Use of the
IIS Web server on Windows XP is limited to 10 concurrent users accessing
the database. This will generally accommodate an office with 15-20
staff, depending on frequency of database usage.
*** MSDE is not recommended for organizations with a large number
of users. If more than 5 concurrent users are anticipated a full
feature database such as PostgreSQL, mySQL, or Microsoft SQL is
recommended
